Tallinn day 1, 2006-04-27

A virgintrip to medieval time?? It turned out to be the first trip for our travelagency, our tourguide Eva, Elaine and me to Estonia and Tallinn. We left Gothenburg in early sunrise to enter the bus in Vanersborg. This bus took us all the way until we were back in Vanersborg again

Here Elaine is poses in front of the Bus in Mariestad were we had a stop to pick up more passengers. The bus, a Setra from Stromstad Tanum Buss, was almost new and took us safe and comfortably all the way with Jerker behind the steering wheel.

The bus enters the ferry from Stockholm to Tallinn

Regina Baltica turned out to be a very old lady who long time ago past her best age. Eva, our tourguide, told us that the ferry was going to be replaced with a new modern ferry this summer. But she took us over the Baltic See and in calm weather she didn't have many challanges.

The bow propeller system didn't have a "flatscreen" for it's computer. It looked all but reliable

Here we are watching the harbour in Stockholm before we left.

Well on the way we had a nice buffet in the restaurant.

The Cabin was very small and the noices... I could hear the soft breeze from the person sleeping on the other side of the wall in my ear all night. Luckily we were asleap when the nightclub closed so we didn't hear those sounds....
